From South Louisiana to North Louisiana – Emily’s Bridals

Emily was married this past weekend in Ruston. A good friend of mine (Jason Cohen from (South Louisiana)) was hired to photograph her wedding. Distance and timing constraints prevented Jason from shooting in upstate Louisiana for her bridals, so Emily allowed me to have the honors. I have been anxiously waiting to show you how well she did.

A bridal session almost two years after her wedding

Rachel was married almost two years ago. She and her husband are about to move out of state this week. Her mom commissioned me b/c Rachel never had a bridal session before her wedding. There is something to be said about post wedding day bridal sessions! Things are just so much more relaxed pertaining to the dress and the bride :)

Mandi Zimmer - Yes, post wedding bridals are so much more fun and relaxed. These are great!

The results from the WPJA (TTD) Trash the Dress contest are in!

The Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) just released the results from their first ever Trash the Dress contest. I am excited to tell you that I placed three times :) . In the “WATER” category, I placed first and also tenth. In the “DETAILS” category I placed seventh. This is all very exciting as these contests pull from an international pool of talent and are very difficult to place in.
