On a recent shoot . . .

During my recent senior session I saw God’s creation in new ways. So I thought I would put two of these images together for a little humor. Some will get it and some will not :)

birds-and-bees

The freshly hatched birds are blue jays and the bee is a carpenter bee.  Try shooting a bee sometime at (f- 1.2)  . . . dang hard! Try shooting baby blue jays with mom and dad blue jay circling you while you shoot . . . pretty hard too.

Kevin,
Just want to say thanks again for the wonderful pictures and the wonderful time we had sharing that day with you. You made Emily feel like the most beautiful bride in the world. We are tickled that you chose her for your ad and your webpage.
Keep up the good work and making the world a better and happier place.
God Bless,
Gwen

Wedding Photojournalism at its very purest and best!

My single greatest achievment as a wedding photojournalist was recorded in January of this year at Candice and Adam’s wedding.

Candice thought it will be funny to get back a her new brother-in-law by writing on his car windows.  Follow the images below to see what unfolded!

A destination Wedding – Katey and Jay’s Cabo wedding – RIU Palace

This post is a look at the (all inclusive)  RIU Palace (Cabo San Lucas, Mexico) resort where we stayed and also where Katie and Jay’s wedding took place. This post will be dedicated to the visuals from and of the RIU Palace resort. There will be many more images to come featuring the documentation of Katie and Jay’s week in Cabo.  I wish all of you could have smelled the fresh air, felt the constant breeze, and heard the plethora of birds singing all day long. I am already looking forward to the day when I can go back to Cabo and the palace!
